We will visit Sugar Loaf, with its fabulous view of the city, Guanabara Bay and Corcovado Mountain. We will then take a walk along the beautiful Bem-Te-Vi pathway at the base of Sugar Loaf. The 1,250 meter long track is located between the sea and the small forest that is part of the Sugar Loaf mountain. Along the way we will see orchids and bromeliads, butterflies and little monkeys.
Taking advantage of being near the downtown district, we would suggest a visit to the São Bento Church-Monastery, the most beautiful sacred building in Rio, a masterpiece in the Baroque style. On the way back to the hotel we'll sightsee through the old districts of Rio, where culture and history of the colonial period are still in evidence.
