Itinerary 2: Visit to Corcovado mountain
We will drive along Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, the lovely lake that separates Ipanema and Leblon from the Botanical Gardens area. We will then take the Rebouças Tunnel to reach the cog railway station for the train up to the famous Corcovado Christ statue, winding in an unforgettable 20-minute climb through Tijuca National Forest, the largest urban forest in the world.
We will also visit Santa Teresa, a charming cobble-stoned old-world neighborhood with beautiful views and attractions.
